Outbound - Gnome Modular Kit

This entry showcases what we at Square Glade Games call the Gnome Kit!
This modular character kit was designed to bring to life a group of special gnomes that are hidden throughout the world and serve as a cute litte collectible!

Since they're quite small in-game, we aimed to keep them as low-poly as possible while preserving a clear and recognizable silhouette.
The base kit includes both a male and a female version, each with a set of three different hairstyles (beards and hair, respectively).
Every gnome comes with a hat featuring six possible variations (three standard and three in a western style), and they can either hold an item or wear an accessory.
All of this, combined with a wide color palette, gives us the ability to create an incredible variety of unique gnomes!

Personally, having spent much of my childhood flipping through illustrated fairy tale books, I really enjoyed working on this modular kit — it’s probably one of the most fun things I’ve worked on so far!
